Rema Construction is a Wellington-based civil construction company specialising in directional drilling, trenchless technology, and utility infrastructure from Auckland to Lower North Island. Directional drilling is at the core of what we do, allowing services such as power, telecommunications, water, and other utilities to be installed with minimal surface disturbance compared with traditional excavation. Our experience includes successful drilling across various parts of New Zealand and a wide range of ground conditions, including clay, sand, mixed ground, rockier profiles, restricted urban sites, and areas with existing underground services.

We also have capability in specialised drilling where conventional excavation is difficult or impractical, including beneath highways and roads, under streams and creeks, and up or across steep hillsides, inside or across rail corridors.
